Slow Down and Listen: A Somatic Listening Session

When life moves too fast, it’s easy to lose connection with yourself. Constant pressure, expectations and overwhelm can make it feel impossible to process, integrate, or truly feel. Titration is the art of slowing things down—creating space to pause, to listen, and to notice what’s happening in your body.

In this space, you get to decide the pace. This gives you both empowerment and room to breathe. And I’ll be there to gently guide you through the experience.

For many, being in the body can feel uncomfortable, even intimidating. Perhaps you’ve relied on habits like shopping, scrolling, or using substances to numb out—adaptive strategies that helped you survive. But now, it’s time to slow down and listen.

This is a practice of presence. A practice of tuning into your body and discovering the subtle messages it holds. Think of it as a guided meditation, but one that’s deeply rooted in a conversation with your body.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Find a comfortable, safe space where you can relax and focus.

  • We’ll begin with a gentle body scan, slowing your breath and connecting with each part of your body.

  • As we move through the scan, we’ll listen for sensations—simple, felt experiences. If you notice tension in your shoulder, for example, I’ll guide you to focus on the sensation, not the story. This helps you stay grounded and present.

  • I’ll support you in tuning into what your body needs—whether it’s safety, rest, or simply the space to feel. If discomfort arises, I’ll be there to co-regulate and hold space for you.

This is about choosing compassion over resistance, curiosity over fear. Even the discomfort can be a gateway to insight, intuition, and healing.
